I did pretty good this month.  I didn't need a whole lot as I my pantry is well stocked.  I bought mostly produce and other perishables along with the FREE & almost FREE items.  I always shop with a list and a plan--no impulse shopping for me!

My CVS deals this week!

I love CVS!  These are some of the deals that I'll be picking up with my coupons this week!
 

I'm getting a Reach 2 or 4 pack of toothbrushes, Listerine Total Care mouthwash, and Total Care dental floss for only $3.97!!

Here's the math:

3 x $3.99 = $11.97
Minus a $5 for coupon= $6.97 
Minus $3 I will earn in CVS Extra bucks
Total = $3.97 for all 3 items!!!!!

I'm also getting...

3 Tide 2x laundry soap

3 Dawn dish soap

Here's the math:

Total $25.00 for these 7 items

Minus $4.75 in manufacturer's coupons = $20.25
Then I'll be getting $10 back in CVS Extra bucks, 
so that means that I will only pay $10.25 for all these items!!

My Pantry Racks

So, a few of you have asked about the racks in my pantry that I use to store canned goods. (See my earlier post in Sept titled, My Pantry Pics)  I love my racks!  They help me stay organized and makes my shelves look like a grocery store.  I got them at Costco a few years ago, and see them every once in a while.  If you can't wait, check out their website--   http://www.shelfreliance.com/

I like the small sections because they can be hooked together and you can also change the size for each individual can.  With all the stuff I get when using my coupons, I had to get myself organized.  Now, I can see exactly what I have and how many!

FREE groceries this week!

Well, I'm finally gettin' the hang of this here blog--yuck, yuck (said like a country bumkin)!   I finally figured out how to add video!  Whoo Hoo!

Ran to the store today to pick up a few FREE items before they flew off the shelves! I used some coupons that were only worth $.25 to $.50. And thanks to some great sales and quadrupling the value, I was able to get stuff that we use everyday for ABSOLUTELY NO MONEY!! Whoo Hoo!
